SANAKO Lab 100 :: Blog :: How students can take home recordings in Lab 100

July 03, 2008

See the attached file (Using Student Recordings from Lab 100)

After a language lesson, students may often want to take the media file created during the Lab 100 lesson with them, in order to evaluate or review their performance freely at home or for extra practice.
Because of their convenience and low-price, USB sticks are recommended as an ideal storage medium for students.

Benefits
Students can bring each day’s learning material home on their USB sticks and independently reinforce the learning done in the classroom.
No need for extra investments as the required functions are built in Lab100.
Students get more efficient use of the self-access computers that are otherwise not fully utilized for learning use (casual browsing of internet, games)

Other Applications
Remote access to student files (if stored in a Learning Management System)
Files can be sent as e-mail attachments
Access to files through the Internet with Media Assistant Lite
